If I become a doctor,
I will have money,
But will I be happy?

If I become a lawyer,
I will be successful,
But will I be proud?

If I leave college with a Ph. D,
I will make my parents proud,
But will it matter to me?

I just want to be me,
Maybe take photographs,
even work paycheck to paycheck.
But, you know what?
I'm happy, just being me.
