About Me

I'm the girl that wants to sail the world, without a paddle. To fly away without wings attached to my back. I'm a free spirit and I have a good heart. I'm the kid thats never picked for kickball, so I decide to sit on the side and draw on the pavement. I try not to get dramatic over things, and just find a better alternate.

Tips for those who choose to go to Vietnam:

Tip # 1. Be Prepared. Depends on who you are and where you choose to stay, you may not have at Toilet. I'm not joking.
Tip # 2. Someone will offer you "lottery tickets" that may be crippled, young, and of course, poor. It is hard for me to say no, so practice saying no because you do not want to spend all your money on things you do not want.
Tip # 3. Push them back. In Vietnam, in the markets or wherever, they will push you to get in front of you. Push back because here, you can be rude.
Tip # 4. Do not make ask an Old Man to give you a ride on those bicycles with the seat in front. He will not be able to push you, and it will end up being slower than walking. Go for a Taxi, it is actually cheaper, more convenient, and cool.
Tip # 5. Barter. Not in their "malls", but in the local supermarkets. If you are not good at it, find a local that knows the shops, then they can help you.
Tip # 6. People will touch you, pull you, etc. If you are walking around, they will offer you what they are selling at the "store". This is just a heads up.
Tip # 7. If you opt for the beach, Nha Trang is where it is at. You should try scuba diving.
Tip # 8. Take a nap during the afternoon. You will get tired, I do not know why. You just do.
Tip # 9. Shower, shower, shower.
Tip # 10. Always keep a raincoat with you, if you go by motorcycle. Rain is unexpected here. Also, if you do not have one, run/drive somewhere there it is dry and safe. Rain here is dirty.
Tip #11. There is nowhere that will not have smoking. Heads up.
Tip # 12. Buy DVDS here for cheap and watch them, then throw them away.
Tip # 13. Do not do anything that is unlucky. Asian people are very superstitious.
Tip # 14. You do not have to tip when you eat at a restaurant.
